I think momma intended to alert you to my presence a while ago, like when I was very wee. But, here we are, 6 months old already and just now getting to our public.
I've recently started this new eating thing. What an experience. A special chair. Goofy "spoon" instruments to chew on and practice my special skills. Odd, mushy substances in frightful colors. At first I felt it all lacked dignity. This didn't look or feel as delightful as the sight of momma and dadda eating all their fabulous foods. But I'm getting the hang of it. I find particular pleasure in the redistribution of the food substances to my surroundings and person.
Here I am in the chair, being placated with a non-food item. As you can see, the parents have taken a "why bother" approach to keeping the chair clean.
Here is my spoonsaber. I usually spend a good deal of energy wrestling it out of momma's hand. Way more fun than the actual eating.
And here I show you that I can actually direct the food into my mouth, should I chose to.
More fun than eating is getting clean! But only if dadda does it. Momma still hasn't gotten her technique down so its still a real drag getting cleaned up by her. But dadda takes the bull by the horns, as they say:
This sink place is fun! And the faucet thing is a blast! Why don't I get to hang in here more often?
Look how well I fit.
Ciao for now. -Buckaroo
